Bigi was signed from, and then back to Coventry City after a brief spell on loan at Rangers where he wouldn't make an appearance due to an 'unnamed medal condition'. A bustling midfield player he never quite made the grade at the top of the game with his only goal for the Magpies coming in a 3-0 against Wigan.
His career would move on a downward spiral from that point, moving to Motherwell, Hibs and Solihull Moors.
The promising start to career had seen him play for England U20s after moving to this country as a refugee at the age of just 9. But with his fall from grace at the top level of English football, so did his hopes of representing England any further. Bigi choosing to represent the country of his birth, Burundi, for whom he played more than a dozen games.
