Garry Brady was thought to be 'one of the hottest prospects in British Football' when he let his contract wind down at Spurs to force a move to another club to get more game time.
That club was Newcastle United as it happened, but having only made 9 appearances at Tottenham before his move to the Magpies aged 22, his career did little (well, nothing really) from that point onwards.
Another 9 league games followed (12 in all comps) in black and white, before he was loaned out to Norwich City (again, making only a handful of appearances).
Indeed Garry, who hailed from Glasgow, ended up having no career of note south of the Scottish boarder.
North of that same divide, things were very different however. He would go on to player over 300 games combined for Dundee, St Mirren and then Brechin City.
