Quinn (Micky)

Micky was a cult hero at St James Park. Scoring 4 goals on his debut against Leeds he would go on to score 71 in total, more than a goal every other game. Micky always carried a little more timber than most first teamers but took any stick, even from his own adoring fans, with good humour. A natural finisher he is fondly remembered by everyone who saw him play. Quinn moved on to be a race horse owner and trainer and more notably a radio show presenter on TalkSport, where he continued to champion the Newcastle cause, especially during the Mike Ashely years.
