The right back from Washington would only ever make one appearance for Newcastle United on the 7th April 1928 in a 5-1 loss at home to Leicester City.

He'd never make the grade at professional level despite showing great promise in amateur football as he would drift down the league before tragically passing away at just 27 years of age.
