'Budgie' as he was known to the Newcastle faithful, is something of a football legend.

Playing for over 30 years he played for staggering 29 clubs over 34 different occasions.

During that time he won the Anglo Italian Cup with Blackpool, the League Cup in 1977 with Aston Villa and the Scottish League Cup with Hibs in 1991 after leaving Newcastle United after his first of his three spells at the club.

In one of the most crazy scenes on a football pitch, Budgie made a bet with Kevin Keegan that he would play an away game against Wolves in a Superman outfit. He won the bet.

He had a brief spell in management as well as a goalkeeping consultant in India.

One crazy character that's for sure.
