- A year in prison for stealing £42k when working at the post office (after his career)
- 'Inappropriate' religious gestures to Rangers fans (for a man born in Glasgow who clearly knew what he was doing)
- Called out players for their attitude towards Peter Beardsley
- A self confessed gambling habit
The chequered past of Albert Craig.
As a player he'd spend almost all of his career in Scotland. Glowing reports would see him come south of the border for a hefty fee but would quickly find it too much with only seven starts and would be shipped back north of the border to Hamilton (first loan) and then back south to Northampton (making a combined league starts of 8 in those two spells).
He'd end up with over 400 league appearances (Dumbarton / Dundee / Partick Thistle his three main clubs) before that infamous job in the Post Office.
