A promising youngster who's career would fall away after not making the grade at Newcastle United.

During those early years he'd be capped twice at U17 and U19 levels for England and reached the semi-finals of the England FA Youth Cup in 2007,

But after only making two league appearances in three years for the Magpies he'd be loaned to first Hartlepool and then Tranmere before a permanent move to Gateshead was agreed.

He would step back up in level again with very decent spells at Cambridge, Plymouth and Hartlepool before moving to Morpeth, Blyth then Ashington.
