Dombia played in the fated 2015/16 season where he was brought in during the winter window, on loan from Rome, to try and stave off relegation for the club. The played just three games for the club, not scoring, and United were related after finishing 18th in the league. The 'option' to buy was not exercised and he returned to Roma before being loaned out again, and again!
