Ewan joined Newcastle United in the Summer of 2026 from the french second division with United needing to transform their goalkeeping options following the loss of form of Cup winning Nick Pope and the return of Aaron Ramsdale back to Southampton following a largely unsuccessful loan spell.

A promising young keeper (just 20 at the time of sining) he'd been coveted by a number of Europes top clubs but the promise of first team football at the Magpies seemingly persuading the young French U21 international that Newcastle was the right fit for him.
