Tino Livramento was something of an opportunistic signing by Newcastle United in the summer of 2023.

With club captain and England superstar Kieran Trippier in the form of his life for the Magpies, it was perhaps something of a surprise that United would spend an estimated £35m on another right back. But with Southampton being relegated in 22/23 Newcastle saw their chance to wrestle away one of Englands brightest young prospects and used a huge chunk of their summer transfer budget to get their man.

His first season at Newcastle, whist being limited in minutes, would show the Magpies fans exactly what they'd paid for with some fine performances in the League and Champions League.
