Muto joined the club in 2018 on a four year deal. His highlights were few and far between though at Newcastle with just one league goal and one cup goal in the two seasons he actually played at the club. His third season was a loan to Eibar in La Liga before both player and club agreed a release on his return to United with a year still left on his contract.
