Henri joined Newcastle United for around £5m from Bordeaux in the Winter of 2016, signing a 5 and a half year deal.

And that, really, was about it when it comes to his Magpies career. Yes, he scored once, a free kick in December of 2017 against West Ham United, but the player the Magpies thought they'd signed, the one who looked so accomplished for his national team, would never be seen in a black and white shirt.

Multiple loans followed, three in total, before the player and club reached agreement for him to leave on a free in the summer of 2021.
