A Dutch International who appeared 7 times for Newcastle United during a loan spell from Chelsea. In fact Newcastle were one of 5 clubs he was loaned to by the London club before he finally made a permanent move to Sunderland. Van Aanholt moved through the ranks with the Netherlands National team, playing at all levels from U16 to U21 and making a handfull of appearances for the full National side.
