Dubravka signs...
A good start to the transfer window this summer as the slightly delayed, yet fully expected, confirmation that last seasons unofficial fans player of the season Martin Dubravka has signed on a permanent basis for Newcastle United.
The 29 year old stopper looked a class above anything else in Rafa’s ranks after moving on loan from Sparta Praha during January. His 4 clean sheets and 6 wins in 12 games included wins over Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea and rapidly became a crowd favourite.

Martin has signed a deal that extends to summer 2002 with Mr Benitez delighted with the news that the deal was completed saying ‘He’s shown a fantastic work ethic…we’re very impressed with him.
On signing his long term deal with United, Martin said ‘It’s hard to put into words it’s something special, it means a lot’
It certainly good to get this one secured early. Welcome Martin.
