Payday Loans

On a day that Newcastle had to pay out for their most expensive ever transfer, a flurry of late activity, all outgoings, saw Achraf Lazaar, Rolando Aarons and Jacob Murphy all head out on loan with deals concluded in the last 10 minutes of the transfer window.

Murphy joins fellow teammate Gayle at the Hawthorns, whilst Lazaar and Aarons both head to Sheffield Wednesday.

These loan deals follow a further loans that saw Callum Roberts move to Colchester earlier in the day, whilst Jamie Sterry had already moved on Crewe, again, on loan.

The Jacob Murphy move is perhaps the most significant. Bought from Norwich on a £10m transfer in July 2017 the player has really found it difficult to adapt to life on Tyneside, never really getting close to the levels of potential expected at the time of his arrival.

It also seems a little odd that Newcastle are perhaps strengthening West Brom’s promotion push given they refused to entertain discussion on a more lengthy arrangement for Rondon today. It seems certain that should the Baggies get promotion then would want Rondon back to help with that campaign given he has another year on his deal with his parent club.

All these players are young enough to hope they can come back stronger and fight again for a place in Newcastle’s first team in the long term.

One player not on the move however is Isaac Hayden however. His hopes of a move he’d been hankering after for some little time now seemingly dashed after Newcastle failed to bring in the replacement Rafa wanted. Andreas Samaris reportedly being close to joining the Magpies over the last couple of days but a deal just could not be done.
