Inter star Lazaro joins on loan
Newcastle United today finalised their second loan signing of the January window, with the completion of a deal with Inter Milan that sees Valentino Lazaro join the club until the end of the season.
The 23 year old began his career at Red Bull Salzburg before a spell a Hertha Berlin saw him impress enough to earn his move to Italy.
Lazaro has a contract with Inter until the summer 2023 and has found appearances hard to come by with Milan this season. His interview and message to the Interview fans would suggest this move to United is as much to get game time and prove what he can do when picked as it is anything about a precursor to a permanent deal in Newcastle.
Either way, the hope is he impresses enough for the next few months that he gives everyone a headache after helping the Magpies to survival in the Premier League. Any permanent move won’t come on the cheap, having signed for I Nerazzurri. A clause allowing United to make the deal permanent is in place, the value of the deal has not been made public however.
His passion for fast cars, nice houses, cool clobber and, by the looks of it, a little sunshine on his back might give a clue as to the chances of this happening. Welcome to Gosforth!
Valentino becomes the first Austrian to ever play for Newcastle United, indeed the first in the Premier League.
Welcome Lazaro
