Developments in London today as all indicators started to point to real progress in a Newcastle United takeover.

As MASH Holdings, the company Mike Ashely uses to control his business interests, started to reorganise and close companies related to Newcastle a new entrant appeared at Companies House.

A new company ‘Monochrome Acquisition Limited’ was incorporated on 5th June 2019. Director, none other than Khaled bin Zayed. With claims only last week that a deal had been agreed and that representatives in the UEA were working to close the deal this has to be a significant step in the right direction.

Whilst whomever thought of the name deserves some credit for creativity.
