Joselu leaves for Spain
Anyone would think we were overloaded with strikers as next to depart the sinking ship is Joselu.
A bit part player in the grand scheme of things at Newcastle United last season, you can understand the lad wanting to move to sunnier climes. As let’s face it, there’s a pretty dark cloud handing over St James Park right now.
Having joined Newcastle from Stoke in August 2017, Joselu played a total of 52 games for United scoring 7 goals, including one on his debut.
Always positive about his time on Tyneside, and someone who always gave his all, no matter his limitations, he will go with the blessing and best wishes of most.
29 year old Joselu joins La Liga side Deportivo Alaves for a fee believed to be in the region of £2m.
