Ryan Fraser
Newcastle United made it two signings in a day this afternoon as, after announcing the signing of Callum Wilson earlier in the day, the club announced that free agent Ryan Fraser was also joining the club.
Fraser, just like Wilson, was a relegated Bournemouth last season but left the club when his contract expired in June.
The current Scotland International has penned a 5 year contract at St James Park, and at the age of 26 should be considered as a capture of a player in his prime. His pace and incisiveness are his key attributes. He will also chip in with the odd goal, 20 in fact in his 183 league games fro Bournemouth.
On his Insta account he wrote of his move: ‘Words can’t describe how happy I am to sign for this special club… Can’t wait to start the journey with you all. #NUFC’

Fraser had joined Bournemouth from Aberdeen way back in 2013 for a fee of just £400k. Bournemouth were in Division One at that time and made an immediate impact helping them to the Championship in his first season.
At his time of joining Newcastle he had amassed 11 Caps and scored once for his national team.
