Who's spent what in 2016/17

Here is the total NET expenditure of each club in the Championship in both the Summer and Winter transfer windows for 2016/17.

Way out in front as top spenders are Aston Villa with over £32m spent after sales, whilst Wolves are second in the NET spend table with almost £30m spent.

At the other end of the spectrum is our very own Newcastle United with a NET profit of over £30m, whilst promotion rivals Brighton were 4th highest spenders at around £8m.

The least active clubs over both transfer windows in terms of paying to add to their squad were Blackburn and Brentford with just one player bought each, whilst more than half the team in the division did not add to their squads in the January window other than loans.

Here is what each club spent in the Winter transfer window (Includes fee for Jordan Rhodes).
