A quick look across Europe shows Newcastle United continue to be amongst the elite supported clubs.
With an average attendance of just shy of 52,000 the Magpies fans continue to all but fill St James Park in support of their heroes as they cheer their team on to what they hope will be Premier League safety this season.
Way out in front of the best supported teams are BVB with almost 80k each home game, with Manchester United the best supported in England.
No place on the list through for Chelsea who continue to look at how they can develop their ground, whilst recent moves to ‘hired’ stadia for West Ham and Spurs push their figures significantly higher than in their old grounds.
